Have you ever thought to yourself, I wish I could share the joy of a new book with other people? Potentially with a tasty drink of sorts on hand? Well, we might have something for you.
Inspired by the Icelandic Christmas Eve tradition of Jólabókaflóð, or "Christmas Book Flood", join us for a cosy night to celebrate our shared love for literature, storytelling and delicious treats. The lovely people at Tills & Co. are opening their doors after sunset especially for you lot, and you don't want to miss it.
The rules are simple: bring a book you are willing to part with, something you think others might enjoy, exchange it with another one that catches your eye from the table in the middle, and settle down for an hour of solo reading (but with other people!). We will have two innovative drinks creations for you on offer, using Oatly products and inspired by our favourite stories (alcohol-free, one hot/one cold), and some vegan pizza and doughballs from Pronto Pizza. The reading part of the evening will be followed by a second half dedicated to socialising and, why not, critical discussions about what you read (or you can talk about your pets, we won't be monitoring don't worry).
