This Introduction to Geosteering course is intended to introduce participants to ROGII's StarSteer geoscience software. Students will finish the class with the ability to set up a new project from scratch, develop geosteering interpretations based on the loaded data, and accurately report results. We will also cover the basics of using geosteering interpretations to update existing grids within the StarSteer mapping module.
Who Should Participate and Prerequisites:
- Anyone looking to learn StarSteer for the first time.
- A basic knowledge of geoscience data types and drilling operations is strongly recommended.
- You must have a reasonably modern PC (with stable internet access) capable of installing and running StarSteer. Macs are not supported.
